My images typically fit in one of six descriptive categories: Wildlife, Sports, Cities/Locations, Scenic/landscape, Close-up/macro and the catch-all Miscellaneous for the images that don’t fit elsewhere.
These galleries include a selection of images from each of the categories, with the content changing from time to time as I add new images. A more extensive collection of my images can be found in my PBase photo database.
I spend much of my photography time shooting birds in local parks. Two reasons: first, birds are very unpredictable and difficult to shoot, so it presents a photography challenge; and second, hiking through parks carrying camera equipment is great exercise and a change of pace from the my office/plane/hotel work routine.
But I enjoy shooting photos that fit in any category. Any day I have a camera in my hand is a good day.
